Staying Motivated, Focused, and Responsive
October 1, 2026
A Message from Leanne
Friends,

Campaigns are filled with pivots, traps, diversions, ups and downs. I'll be honest: some days are harder than others. The way we interact as humans is changing. The rise of online media, digital tools, busy lives, and social bubbles makes it harder to have honest conversations, to disagree, and to find common ground.
That's why being on the doorstep is so important to local politics. Every conversation has value, even when we disagree. Because it forces me to pause and see our community through a new lens, including perspectives that are uncomfortable.
I am so blessed that our campaign has invited under-represented voices to the table. Because every vote matters: young adults, new Canadians, seniors on a fixed income, citizens with mental health challenges, working families with kids, and everything in between.
With less than four weeks to go, we are not finished listening and learning. We are staying motivated, focused, and responsive.
