I'm Leanne Caron and I'm running for mayor of Guelph.

Guelph is at a turning point. We are living in a rapidly changing world where pressure on our local capacity has never been more intense. Guelph must emerge from this election with experienced, serious, compassionate leadership.

That's why I'm running. As your mayor, I will:

Deliver on affordability by sharpening how we spend, plan and invest.
Collaborate for better results by bringing the best minds to the table and focusing on outcomes.
Build a more livable city by creating and protecting the neighbourhoods and green spaces we love.

Mark your calendar. Election day is October 26. In 2022, only 28% of eligible voters voted. Our goal is at least 50%.

Carbon Neutral Campaign

I am committed to making this election campaign carbon neutral through the use of digital resources wherever possible, recycled and recyclable materials, use of local and BCorp businesses, living wage support, and carbon offsets for environmental impact.

Territorial Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional lands of the Hodinöhsö:ni' and Anishinaabe and the treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit. I offer my respect and gratitude to the First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples who call these lands home. I commit to meaningful actions of truth and reconciliation that repair the harm of colonization.
