A Message from Leanne

Friends,

We’re on a roll! It’s been a while since I last reached out because our campaign leadership team has been so busy putting all the pieces into place for a winning campaign!

I’ve been inspired and humbled by the incredible wave of support so far. Over the past few months, I’ve been listening at the door, online, at the market, and in the community at events, businesses, and more.

I’m refining platform priorities, my affordability plan, and action plans (realistic, measurable actions). Our website LeanneCaron.ca is being updated regularly. We’ve been growing our support incrementally, and it’s time to take it to the next level - which includes YOU!

Please consider joining Team Leanne. There are many ways to show your support – see the opportunities below.

Most of all, spread the word that change is coming. Talk to your friends, co-workers, neighbours and family. If you hear misinformation, call it out. If you have ideas for change or questions, email me. I’m listening. Amplify our message that we are building a city for the future that is affordable, liveable, and leaves no one behind.

Together, we can build the city we can be proud of. Let’s do this!

Our Campaign Priorities

Our campaign is built around three priorities that will help create the city we can be proud of:

  • Deliver on affordability by making smarter choices about how we plan, spend, and invest.
  • Create an open and collaborative City Hall by listening to residents, communicating openly, and bringing people together to solve problems.
  • Build a liveable city by investing in the places, programs, and people that make Guelph a great place to live.
  • Each priority is backed by practical actions and measurable commitments that reflect the kind of experienced, serious, and compassionate leadership Guelph deserves.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more detailed plans and policy announcements, so check back regularly to see what's new.
